As part of our 20th anniversary celebrations we are hosting this special evening event, to coincide with our 2024 archive exhibition Daphne’s Story.
Griff will be joining us at the Village Hall on the evening of 23rd March to give us his personal reflections on growing up in Wales and Essex, as well as his extensive career in TV, radio and on the stage. Griff is an active conservationist and the president of Civic Voice, the national organisation representing Britain’s civic societies, with a passion for this country’s heritage. He also has a love of historic sailing vessels, including his own 1948 wooden yacht, Argyll, which he races at regattas around the country.
There will be an interval and licensed bar, after which you will have the opportunity to ask Griff about his long career, his interests and experiences.
Doors open 7pm.
Tickets are £15 (adults) £5 (children 14 & under) available online (below) and on the door.
Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to meet and hear from Griff in an informal local setting!
