It was a day of fine weather that greeted the smack ‘Maria’ as she came into Rowhedge to join us for the Harris Rally earlier this month. Our event for historic vessels originally built in Rowhedge’s Harris Boatyard this year coincided with the Harker’s Yard Race series for rowing gigs from across the region, so it was a busy day throughout the riverside. Many people came to see all the river activity and to enjoy the myriad historic and modern boats on display in the glorious October sunshine.
