Every year the Rowhedge Heritage Trust hosts a community seafood picnic on Lion Quay. As a nod to Rowhedge’s great fishing past, seafood platters, crabs and oysters are all brought into the village and served from an old Dutch barge alongside the quay. You can order your seafood in advance here. Unfortunately we will only be able to sell seafood ordered in advance.
Prices are:
Mini seafood plater £13.50
Double platter (regular) £36 (please note that these portions are much larger than the single platters!)
Quad platter (regular) £72 (again, these are larger portions that the single platter)
Oysters £9 per ½ dozen
Dressed crab £9 each
You must place your order by 20th July.
IMPORTANT We have no way of keeping your order cool for long periods.YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR ORDER BY 3PM.
Of course you are welcome to bring your own food and drink to the event.
